A Key West K5 pool in a Sanford backyard
A compact backyard with a pergola and big oak trees. The shell came in by crane over the street and the trees, and the finished pool sits in a paver deck right off the patio.

- 1
Before
A narrow backyard with a pergola and big oak trees. We marked the pool on the ground so the homeowner could see the real size.
- 2
Digging the hole
A mini excavator dug to the exact depth, and the crew leveled a compacted base for the shell to sit on.
- 3
The crane lifts the pool in
The yard had no room for a truck, so a crane lifted the shell from the street, over the trees and the house, and into the backyard.

Setting and leveling the shell
The crew guided the shell into the hole, checked it for level and started the plumbing and backfill.
- 5
Coping and water
The pavers went on around the edge as the pool was filled with water.
- 6
Finished
Pavers all around, equipment connected and the pool filled and running.
